Fictionalized version of Adolf Hitler's treatment by a psychiatrist after his exposure to mustard gas in WWI. The official papers were destroyed by Hitler. Weiss' novel is based upon his acquaintance with the Pasewalk doctor who treated Hitler, and took credit for the 'miracle cure' which resolved Hitler's blindness, and appears to have pushed him to his messianic track. 001462
