Apparently the first work by Buchanan of Greenock, and preceding his 1828 work, BUCHANAN'S INITIATORY DRAWING (1828). This remarkably rare book by Buchanan has 80pp. of text, interspersed with 23 copper-plate engravings + the engraved title-page. This work was designed for the use of Academies and Boarding Schools.
