Half calf, wirh marbled boards, all edges gilt. [6] iv [5], 10-150 [2] (last leaf is a blank). The play met with mostly laudatory criticism from Dr. Johnson (see Boswell's Johnson, Letter to Mrs. Chabone). In 1798 Frederick was appointed guardian to Lord Byron. Byron lampooned Frederick in "English Bards and Scotch Reviewers", but later apologized in "Childe Harold" 005753
